Our Bark Slice Nativity with Palm Ornament is a beautifully detailed piece that captures both craftsmanship and the natural beauty of olive wood. Hand carved in Bethlehem by the Giacaman Family, each ornament is made from a slice of olive branch, preserving the natural bark edge for a raw, organic look.

The nativity scene, accented with a carved palm, is carefully etched into the wood, creating depth and texture against the rich, natural grain. Each piece begins with pruned olive branches, never cutting down trees, and is dried for over a year before being carved and finished by hand.

Created by master woodcarver Ibrahim Giacaman, a fourth generation artisan trained in Bethlehem and Florence, every ornament reflects generations of skill and attention to detail. Variations in grain, bark, and shape make each piece truly one of a kind.

Due to the handmade nature of each ornament, no two are exactly alike and slight variations from the photo are to be expected.
